Rehabilitation of services for PlayStation Network

Sony Corporation and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) announced that the Sony Network Entertainment International (SNEI) will reset all the functions of the PlayStation Network in America, Europe and PAL territories and Asia (outside Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea) by the end of the week. The company will also restore the department of Music Unlimited Qriocity for the PlayStation3 (PS3), the PSP (PlayStation Portable) and personal computers. Details for Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea, but for the remaining services Qriocity will be announced when available.

The company has incorporated a number of improved security measures on network infrastructure, and conducted detailed investigations into purchasing and payment procedures. The first phase of restoration of PlayStation Network and Qriocity began on May 15 in America, Europe and PAL territories and continued to May 28 in Japan and Asia, through the gradual restoration of services. Thanks to this partial recovery, users gained access to certain features such as online game, managed account, the friends lists and chat. The full restoration of the PlayStation Network, and its services Qriocity will include:

Full function PlayStationStore
Purchases of games (In-game)
Ability to 'Redemption' coupons and codes
Full operation of the service of Music Unlimited Qriocity for PlayStation3 (PS3), the PSP (PlayStationPortable) and Personal Computers
Full operation of the Media Go
Users can now buy and download games and video content from the PlayStation Store on your PS3 or PSP. Additionally, users will have full access to the service of Music Unlimited Qriocity for PlayStation3 (PS3), the PSP (PlayStationPortable) and personal computers. The rehabilitation services of Video on Demand and Music Unlimited Qriocity Qriocity of a series of Sony devices capable of networking will be announced later.
