Process to Transfer Bookmarks

Bookmarks are managed and also created by users themselves in the browsers. They can be used in the browsers such as Internet explorer (referred as Favorites), Firefox, Netscape, and other latest browsers. If a particular Website is really interesting or having some useful information, then the website can be bookmarked. Bookmark is the easiest way to retrieve the information again. By using this feature, users can bookmark various interesting websites at any time, and can revisit the page whenever they require.

Transfer bookmark is an option to import or export bookmark. The term bookmark is not used in the Internet explorer browser. Instead, the term is referred as "Favorites". The following are the steps to transfer bookmark in the Internet explorer browser:

1) Go to File menu
2) Click Import and Export
3) Select Import bookmark or Export bookmark (depending upon the user's action)
4) Transfer bookmark in Internet explorer is completed

Similarly, transferring bookmark is also simple in Firefox browser. To do the transfer process, follow the steps:

1) Start Mozilla Firefox on the computer
2) Click Bookmark in Firefox
3) Click Organize bookmark. This is will enable the user to see the import and export option.
4) Click Import HTML or Export HTML. The option can be selected by the user according to their wish
5) The process gets completed by the following 1-3 steps

The transferring process in other browsers like Opera, Netscape, and Google Crome is also the same. By transferring all the favorites, users can easily visit the necessary websites. It also saves lot of time.

Errors while importing or exporting:
